Working at WEINMANN Emergency project means working on the products that help save people’s lives. WEINMANN Emergency is a Hamburg-based medical technology company that develops life-saving equipment used by professionals in the emergency medical services, hospitals, and military medical corps. The company distributes its products in Germany and in more than 120 other countries around the world.

 

About the products: a defibrillator with monitoring functions

The company develops medical equipment for emergency medicine such as ventilators, defibrillators, oxygen systems, portable suction machines, etc. Together with the client’s team, we’ve been working on MEDUCORE Standard² – a portable defibrillator that gives an electric shock, measures and displays the heart rate, pulse rate, oxygen saturation, electrocardiogram, and blood pressure of a patient.

Together with the client’s team, we’ve been working on a portable defibrillator that gives an electric shock, measures and displays the heart rate, pulse rate, oxygen saturation, electrocardiogram, and blood pressure of a patient.

Since the start of cooperation, we’ve been working together with the client to make all the processes clear and effective. We’ve implemented agile approaches, mandatory merge request reviews, continuous improvement of code quality, increased unit testing coverage, and streamlined the creation of detailed documentation.

  1. Skills

On this project, you develop yourself in healthcare domain expertise, embedded software expertise, embedded security, file system encryption, working with Bluetooth devices (portable thermal printers) and Wi-Fi and multi-radio modules (on-board and standalone ones, such as u-blox nina-w1), experience working with a German company, networking, etc.
