What kind of bonus can I get?

You can get an appreciation bonus if you refer a person for any delivery positions of Middle+ level and

non-delivery positions of Senior+ level. The referral bonus depends on the candidate’s qualification level

and not by the level of the open position.

Also, you can get a Special Referral bonus of up to $3,000 for recommendations on particular positions.

WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS FOR A REFERRAL?

  • The candidate must be aware of the vacant position and willing to cooperate with N-iX.
  • You cannot refer yourself – but you are invited to check out our numerous job openings.
  • We accept a referral if the candidate didn’t apply to the similar positions at N-iX during the last 2 months.
  • You must be the first person to refer the candidate for the position (the date and time of the submission will be recorded).
  • The referred person was not already recommended by someone else during the last 3 months.
  • The candidate is not already involved in the selection process for one of our current vacancies.
  • A referral bonus is applicable for delivery positions Middle+ level and non-delivery positions Senior+ level.
  • Hiring Managers (Delivery Managers, Delivery Directors, Project Managers, Project Coordinators, and Team Leads (in a role of a Hiring Manager)) cannot get a referral bonus for a referral to their projects. But a Hiring Manager can refer a candidate for any other projects in the company.

You will receive a bonus if your candidate successfully completes the probation period in the company. Usually, for N-iX contractors it lasts for 3 months, for freelancers - 1 month, but the candidate's direct manager has the right to extend this period in some cases. You will be informed about the candidate’s status by email. In case your candidate fails the probation period, the bonus won't be paid.
The referral bonus depends on the candidate's qualification level, on which he/she is placed into the company, and not on the level of the open vacancy. For example, if the candidate was recommended for a Senior position but finally was hired as a Middle expert, you will receive a bonus for the Middle Specialist.

For the recommendations worldwide (apart from Ukraine): A referral bonus is paid in gross US dollars (before taxes and other bank deductions). You will be entitled to receive the bonus payment in your bank account in 3 weeks from the last working day of the trial month. For N-iX contractors, the referral bonus will be paid as part of the remuneration for the services provided.

For recommendations in Ukraine: The referral bonus is paid in gross Ukrainian hryvnia at the exchange rate on the payment day. The announced bonus is gross and always processed through our PE account, thus you will receive it to your card NET (minus 5% of tax, and a commission from your bank for a transfer). A bonus will be paid in 3 weeks from the last working day of trial month.​ For N-iX contractors, the referral bonus will be paid with the remuneration payment.

Yes, you will receive a bonus according to the candidate's qualification level, on which he/she is placed into the company. You can find the amount of bonuses for each level here.
Yes, you just have to fill out the form on this page and specify the specialization of your friend in the Preferred position field (for example, Senior Java Engineer).
The specialist you refer is your candidate for 3 months. It means that no one else can recommend this person and if he/she is placed within this period, you will get a referral bonus.

Yes, if there is another position that meets the candidate's qualifications and experience, we will definitely consider it. The recommendation is valid for 3 months from the date of the recommendation. The bonus depends on the position the candidates will be hired to. You will receive the payment after the successful completion of the probation period.
Usually, the probation period for N-iX contractors lasts for 3 months, for the top positions - 6 months, for freelancers - 1 month, but the candidate's direct manager has the right to extend this period in some cases.
If the candidate cannot be processed, you will receive an email from a responsible Talent Acquisition Specialist. The reasons can be the following:
  • The candidate is not aware of our vacancy and is not interested in cooperation with N-iX.
  • The candidate has applied for one of the similar positions during the last 2 months.
  • The mentioned candidate is already involved in the selection process.
  • The candidate was already recommended by someone else during the last 3 months.
  • The candidate has failed the probation period.
