IT is Poplava event raised almost 1.5 million UAH for “Come Back Alive” fund

On April 22nd, N-iX, together with the “Come Back Alive” fund and journalist Oleg Novikov, organized the first IT Poplava.
Poplava is a project that began as an event on Twitter Spaces where journalists and experts from the “Come Back Alive” fund discuss various topics related to the Russian-Ukrainian war. The project has grown into a regular podcast, expanding into separate podcasts on the economy, history, law, reforms, and anti-corruption.

N-iX has been a strategic partner of the “Come Back Alive” fund since 2022. To support the fund’s operational activities, N-iX allocates $30,000 per month. The recording of the first IT Poplava was organized specifically for N-iX employees to raise money for the fund’s operations.

The first IT Poplava event was a huge success, attracting over 90,000 viewers and setting a new record for donations from its audience.
As a result of the event, N-iX employees raised more than 610,000₴ to support “Come Back Alive” fund activities. During a charity auction at IT Poplava, an exclusive black “Come Back Alive” calendar was auctioned off for 215,000₴. The calendar featured the signature of Valery Zaluzhny, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Additionally, the IT Poplava viewers donated more than 749,000₴ for a chance to get another calendar signed by Valery Zaluzhny, along with unique keychain bottle openers crafted from a downed Su-30SM enemy aircraft and other gifts from N-iX and the “Come Back Alive” fund.
The organizers of the IT Poplava added 90,000₴ to bring the total amount raised in donations to 1,449,000₴.

The participants of IT Poplava were: the Head of the “Come Back Alive” fund Taras Chmut, the Director of the Department of Strategic Initiatives of the fund Ivan Naumenko, the Head of the Analytical Department, Anton Muraveinik, and the Director of the Development and Partnerships Department Oleg Karpenko. In addition to questions from the IT community, the podcast discussed the activities of the fund, the involvement of employees in working on large fund projects, the number of fund employees, and other operational details of the “Come Back Alive” fund’s activities.
