Senior DevOps (AWS) Engineer (#1561)

N-iX is actively looking for a Senior DevOps (AWS) Engineer to join our team! Our customer is one of the biggest financial institutions in Ukraine. The team will be working on data migration from on-premise to AWS cloud. 

Responsibilities:

• Work on deployment strategies and automation for cloud-native applications and services.
• Work with the development team in implementing the build pipelines.
• Support automated build pipeline, continuous integration, continuous deployment, and test automation frameworks.
• Works on implementing infrastructure monitoring and logging strategies in AWS.
• Build infrastructure in AWS from scratch.
• Works on troubleshooting integration issues.
• Maintain and improve an infrastructure shared by product teams.
• Provide coaching and collaborate with product teams to improve their infrastructure and AWS best practices.
• Optimize environments with a focus on agility and team productivity, and, above all, security.
• Suggest and implement improvements.
• Work towards introducing desirable features into your work: automation, HA, scalability, monitoring, and security.

Requirements: 

• Software development-related degree or equivalent in education or experience.
• At least 4 years of experience working with AWS infrastructure.
• Security by design mindset.
• Solid understanding of SDLC.
• Hands-on experience with administering Linux systems.
• Develops automation using Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, Python
• Proven experience in designing and implementing build pipelines in a CI/CD environment with GitLab, GitLab CI, Nexus
• Solid experience in AWS networking (Transit Gateway, Routes, Security Groups etc.)
• Solid experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, VPC, RDS, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, Route53, etc.

Nice to have:

• Experience with AWS data and analytics services such as Redshift, and Airflow MWAA is a plus.
