Senior PHP Engineer (#3927)

Our customer is the European online car market, with over 30 million monthly users and a presence in 18 countries. As a Senior PHP Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of online car markets and enhancing the user experience for millions of car buyers and sellers.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain the CRM applications using PHP.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and other developers, to define, design, and ship new features.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards.
• Optimize applications for maximum performance and scalability.
• Conduct thorough testing of applications to ensure quality and identify and fix bugs.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our CRM applications are current and competitive.
• Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and mentor junior developers.
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.

Requirements:

• Canadian Timezone (EDT)
• Be able to work independently, take ownership of features.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 3+ years of professional experience in software development using PHP.
• Strong understanding of JavaScript, including ES6+ syntax and features.
•  Experience with state management libraries such as Redux or MobX.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integrating third-party libraries and APIs.
• Proficiency with version control systems, particularly Git.
• Experience with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Upper-intermediate/Advanced English level
