Our client is a global UK-based financial services and investment banking organization developing an AI-powered document processing and automation platform used across multiple businesses within the wider banking group. The platform leverages modern cloud and AI technologies to transform legacy workflows, enhance data quality, and accelerate digital decision-making.

We are looking for an Agile Delivery Lead with strong, practical experience in driving delivery for cross-functional software teams. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience running agile ceremonies and understands the realities of delivering digital products in complex environments.
This role requires someone who can effectively collaborate with engineering, product, and business stakeholders while maintaining a clear view of team progress, governance activities, dependencies, and strategic priorities across multiple workstreams and releases. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end delivery of complex software initiatives, ensuring timely, predictable, and high-quality outcomes.
• Facilitate agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint planning, retrospectives) and drive continuous improvement.
• Coach and mentor cross-functional teams to enhance delivery discipline, velocity, and collaboration.
• Support governance processes, ensuring all required documentation, controls, and approval steps (v2, v3, and future versions) are tracked and completed.
• Manage dependencies across multiple teams and coordinate efforts between internal colleagues and vendor teams.
• Maintain roadmaps & release plans, ensuring transparency of progress, risks, blockers, and priorities.
• Translate technical work into business outcomes, ensuring alignment with broader organizational goals.
• Remove impediments, optimize processes, and foster a culture of accountability, ownership, and psychological safety.
• Identify and reduce manual work, driving the shift from “run the bank” to “change the bank” activities.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Agile Delivery Lead, Scrum Master, or similar delivery roles within software or digital product environments.
• Proven track record leading cross-functional agile teams and running full agile delivery cycles.
• Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Experience working in complex, regulated, or enterprise environments (ideally banking or financial services).
• Ability to collaborate effectively with both engineering teams and business stakeholders.
• Solid understanding of agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban; SAFe is a plus).
• Ability to track and manage governance, compliance, or release-related activities.
• Comfortable managing multiple workstreams, dependencies, and delivery risk
• Advanced English for day-to-day communication.

Nice to Have:

• Technical background or strong familiarity with software engineering concepts, architecture basics, or system integration workflows
• Experience with AI/ML-related products or data-heavy platforms
• Familiarity with budgeting, staffing, or capacity planning processes
• Background in banking, financial services, or highly regulated industries.
