Ukraine’s largest IT “Unconventional” corporate party raised ₴9,500,000 for the Armed Forces

On December 22, N-iX, one of the largest IT companies in Ukraine, organized the first All-Ukrainian “Unconventional” corporate party for the entire IT community. Together with the Come Back Alive foundation and the largest IT community in Ukraine — DOU, the company held a 5-hour stream on the YouTube channel “TV Toronto,” aiming to raise 8,000,000₴ for the purchase of power sources for the Armed Forces.

Since IT companies skipped the usual corporate parties this year, N-iX decided to make a holiday for everyone by organizing the biggest open “Unconventional” corporate party in Ukraine.
The youtube-stream had a charitable cause to raise funds for purchasing 365 power sources for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The event’s guests were Taras Chmut, director of the Come Back Alive foundation; Andrew Pavliv, CEO & Founder at N-iX; Vladyslava Zatsarynna, Head of Operations at DOU; musical bands Latexfauna, Bez Obmezhen, Hadyukiny Brothers, and more.

The “Unconventional” corporate party gathered more than 91,000 viewers and, at the end of the youtube stream, managed to collect almost 7,000,000₴ in donations. To meet the goal of 8,000,000₴, N-iX decided to contribute an additional 1,000,000₴.
N-iX and the Come Back Alive foundation decided to extend the donation deadline until the end of 2022 to buy even more power sources.

The fundraising campaign was closed on January 3 at 9,500,000 UAH. This amount should be enough to buy more than 430 power sources for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Andrew Pavliv, CEO & Founder at N-iX, comments:

In this challenging year for everyone, I am glad that together with the entire IT community, we can organize such charity events and jointly achieve great goals.
Only together and united, despite the enemy, will we be able to bring our victory closer. I hope that even after the victory, the IT community will continue this approach to celebrations for the faster recovery and development of Ukraine
.”

Oleg Karpenko, Director of the Development and Partnerships Department of the Come Back Alive Foundation, comments:

“N-iX has a very creative approach to charity, and the “Unconventional” corporate party is another proof of this. Over the past year, N-iX, in addition to the usual support of the army, donated to the Defense Forces during all its holidays – company birthdays and New Year’s corporate parties. And what’s cool: the company’s management, employees, and the IT community united by N-iX made transfers on their own. It is an example of a truly socially responsible Ukrainian business.”
